There are many great sports-tech and fitness apps available to help you stay active. These four great apps can help you stay on top of your fitness goals, monitor your progress, or just get inspired to start moving.

Fitocracy – This app combines social networking with fitness activity tracking. Users can set daily/weekly/monthly goals, share their progress with friends, and earn points as they achieve their fitness milestones. Fitocracy offers a free version or “pro” account for $4.99 a month.

MapMyFitness – This app allows users to track the distance and time of their workouts using GPS technology. Users can create routes for running, hiking, biking, or other activities to share with friends online or simply use for their own tracking purposes. The app is free but users must make an account which is also free.

C25K – The C25K app is designed to help get you off the couch and running in just eight weeks. The name comes from the amount of time it takes: nine weeks. There are so many fitness apps to choose from. It can be difficult to pick out the most effective ones that will help you stay active and maintain your goals. Here are four of our favorites for all those fitness junkies out there:

Map My Run: This app is great for runners who want to track their miles and pace. You can use this app with any other device, including Fitbit, Garmin, Jawbone and more. Map My Run will give you a visual layout of your runs, providing information on distance and duration as well as calories burned. It offers training plans, audio cues and challenges that you can use to compare yourself against other runners. If you’re more of a walker or cyclist, the app also has options for that as well.

My Fitness Pal: For those who are trying to lose weight, it’s important to keep track of your diet. My Fitness Pal is an excellent resource for monitoring your food intake and progress toward your goals. It’s free, easy-to-use calorie counter along with a diet plan that works in tandem with your fitness routine. The best part? You can log in what you’re eating throughout the day on any device, making it easier than ever to stay accountable!

Staying active and fit is a goal many of us have. But it can be hard to get motivated to exercise when you have to go somewhere, such as the gym, or take time out of your day. Fitness apps are a great way to stay active, because they allow you to do so right on your phone! The following are some of the top fitness apps that are available today.

Runkeeper: This app allows you to track your running or walking progress. It will track your distance and time spent exercising, along with calories burned. You can also use it to find new routes in your area for running. Users love this app because it is easy to use and very motivational.

Map My Run: This app is very similar to Runkeeper, but it has additional features that some people may prefer. You can still track your runs and find new routes, but this app allows you to keep track of more than just running workouts. You can also log other activities such as cycling, walking, hiking and more! Users love this app because it makes workouts fun and keeps them motivated by allowing them to see their past workouts plotted out on a map so they can see their progress over time.

7 Minute Workout App: This app was developed by ACSM (

The first app we want to talk about is the Nike Training Club. This app gives you over 100 workouts from top trainers that you can do anywhere. Whether you want to focus on abs, arms, or endurance, there’s a workout for you and it’s all free. You can also track your progress with this app as well as share it with friends via Facebook and Twitter.

Another great fitness app is RunKeeper. Like many other apps, this one tracks your activity but it also allows you to set goals and then get encouragement based on those goals. It also gives you a detailed analysis of your performance over time and integrates with other apps like Fitbit and MyFitnessPal. It also has audio coaching options so you can get motivational messages while you’re running.

For people who like to run in groups, there’s an app called Cheer Me On! This is a group running app that allows runners to cheer one another on while they’re out running by sending them pre-recorded audio messages through their headphones. The runners don’t need to be together in order for this to work; they just need the same app installed on their phones.

The last fitness app that we want to mention here is Runtastic Pro. This is similar to RunK
