Top 8 gadgets for any dad that has it all

Father’s day is fast approaching so it’s time to get dad the perfect gift. Whatever your budget, there are plenty of options to find something that dad will love.

The Super Dad

For the dad that has everything and loves tech, we’ve got a few high-end gadgets that he may not have yet.

One of the best gifts I received last year was the Amazon Echo ($179). You can connect this device to your home wifi and use it as a speaker or set reminders, or even order pizza through Domino’s. This device is controlled by voice recognition and has been an invaluable addition to my house.

Another great option for the super dad is a drone ($179+). Several companies make drones but with DJI being one of the most popular, you can’t go wrong with their products. These drones range in price from $179 for the Mavic Mini (an introductory drone), to $2699 for the Matrice 600 Pro (a professional video drone).

DJI also has several other drones in between these two prices. These drones take some practice but are well worth it once you get comfortable with them.

For dads that love photography, GoPro has just released their latest action camera ($399). This device records 4K video

Give Dad the gift of time. The gift of not having to wait a half hour for his computer to boot up. An SSD (Solid State Drive) will speed up his computer tremendously. It’s one of the best upgrades you can get for your PC. If he’s a gamer, it can reduce load times in games too.

If Dad is a gamer, you might want to consider getting him a new gaming mouse and keyboard. The Razer Deathadder Chroma is one of the best gaming mice out there and comes in at only $70 on Amazon at the time of this writing. If you can swing it, go with the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse for $79 on Amazon. It has more features and customizable LEDs than the DeathAdder Chroma.

The Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2016 is also a great keyboard for gamers. If you want to get Dad something unique, I recommend getting him the Ducky Shine 5 Cherry MX Brown LED Mechanical Keyboard from Massdrop. It’s a beautiful mechanical keyboard with customizable backlighting options and built like a tank. It’ll run you about $180 but it’s worth every penny!
