Once you download the TrackR app from the Apple Store or Google Play store, you can set up your devices so they are easy to find while paired with your smartphone. If you lose the device that has your TrackR attached to it, you can use the app to sound an alarm at full volume so you can find it quickly.

The Best Gadgets of CES 2020

CES, the world’s largest tech show, has come to a close for another year. This year, we saw a lot of promises and potential — 5G phones; 8K TVs; laptops powered by Intel’s Ice Lake CPUs and AMD’s Ryzen 4000 chips; an array of smart home devices; and even a smart toilet with Alexa support (yes, really).

Since many announcements were made pre-show and others are still just concepts that won’t hit the market until later in the year, it’s hard to determine which products were actually the best gadgets of CES 2020. But once we visited the booths and spoke with companies about their products in person, some stood out more than others. Here are our favorites from CES 2020.

We have the future before us, and before I set about the task of making the future, let me say a brief word in regard to the past.

Pliny the Elder said that history is the light of truth. He also said that wherever there is light there must be heat; and so let us be thankful that we are illumined by such a brilliant light as that cast upon us by our forefathers, even though at times we find it hot.

History can be pleasant to look back upon, but it is more useful as a guide in looking forward and planning for the future. We need not, indeed we cannot, repeat history; but we can profit by the experience of those who have gone before us if we will but study their lives and their achievements.

I have been studying history, and I find that those men who have achieved great things have been men of great faith who cultivated cheerful hearts despite failure.
