2. Motherboard – This is the main circuit board inside your case that connects all of your hardware components together. Before choosing a motherboard, you need to know which socket type you will be using (AM2, LGA775 or 754). Other things to consider when choosing a motherboard include: number of RAM slots supported, PCI/PCIe ports available for video cards and other devices, number of SATA ports for hard drives/optical drives and support
When buying a personal computer, whether it’s a laptop or a desktop, there are many things to consider. In most cases, the PC will be used for professional or school work so it’s important to get one that can handle those tasks well. Here are some of the most important things to consider:
-Processor – This is what makes your computer function. The better the processor, the faster and more efficient your computer will be. A few common processor brands include Intel and AMD.

How do you know if you really need a new computer, or if you can just upgrade your current one? If you decide that you do need a new computer, how do you know what to buy? Do you get an Intel or AMD processor? How much memory do you need? What kind of graphics card should I get? Is Linux better than Windows XP Pro?

2. It’s not worth spending money on something that doesn’t matter for your use case. This is hard to say because the “use case” is often different for each person. For example, some people play video games; others don’t. Some people do video editing; others don’t. Some want a small form factor; others don’t care how big it is as long as it’s powerful enough. As I look around my desk at the various computers, servers, and other gadgets I use on a daily basis, I’m struck by the fact that I don’t use any of them for their intended purpose. My server runs Windows 7 and plays movies and music. My desktop is a glorified web browser. And even my laptop, which is used for real work all day long, is nothing more than a browser connected to a terminal server.
