Best Computer Brands
Perhaps the most interesting trend in this year’s PC brand reliability survey is Apple’s new position as the company with the most reliable computers overall. Even more interesting is that their numbers are even better than they seem, since all of their laptop models, including the MacBook Air, have had reliability rates significantly better than average for several years. The Best and Worst Computers of 2018
Know the best computers of 2018. All the best laptops, desktops and other portable devices are reviewed here.
I’ve been testing and reviewing laptops, desktops, tablets, and accessories for over a decade. A lot has changed in the last ten years. In 2007, you might have bought a 15-inch laptop for work, but you would have carried a smartphone for personal use. You used your desktop computer for gaming or photo editing at home and probably bought an iPad if you were looking to get a tablet. There are still bad laptops out there that cost too much money and offer too little value.
To help you decide which products are worth spending your money on, I’ve put together the following list of my recommendations for the best computers of 2018. This list covers all kinds of use cases from casual browsing to gaming to photo editing, as well as different price points from budget PCs to high-end systems.
I update this list about once every two or three months with new models that have won our Editors

The best computer brands provide the most reliable devices, with solid designs and build quality, powerful performance, excellent customer support and a broad range of useful software. The worst computer brands leave much to be desired, with unreliable hardware and poor build quality that result in frequent out-of-warranty repairs.
