The LG 360 VR headset is a relatively new gadget that has been released on the market. I have tested it out and found that it works very well, but there are some things you should know before buying this product.
The LG 360 VR headset is an affordable virtual reality device that works with most phones. The company claims its device will provide users a much better experience than they would get from Google Cardboard while still being more affordable than high-end devices like Facebook’s Oculus Rift or Sony’s PlayStation VR system. This is due to its design and features such as 360-degree video playback capability which allow users to view immersive content on their smartphone without having to hold up their hands all day long; plus, it comes with built-in controls for games as well as other apps like Netflix or Hulu Plus in case you want to take your phone with you when traveling abroad (or anywhere else).
The LG 360 VR headset has been designed specifically for use with smartphones, and will only work if your device fits into the slot at the front of the unit. It also requires an HDMI cable (

LG 360 VR headset was first showcased at Mobile World Congress 2016, Barcelona. This Virtual reality goggles will be compatible with upcoming LG G5 flagship smartphone. It is one of the most innovative gadgets launched by LG in a long time.
The company has been launching Oled TV lineup for past few years, this is the first time they have come up with a virtual reality headset. The design of these goggles is very sleek and they are light weighted as well which makes them comfortable to wear for longer period of time.
LG has used OLED displays which are lighter, more efficient, and more flexible than traditional displays which makes it very portable to carry around. The display comes with a resolution of 960 x 720 pixels which sounds less but it is good enough to have a decent experience while watching movies or playing games on these goggles.
It comes with an attached micro USB cable that connects to G5’s USB Type-C port to get power and data from your phone. There are dedicated buttons for power and volume control located on either side of the headset. The back side features a focus control dial for adjusting
With virtual reality (VR) technology finally hitting the consumer market, people are beginning to wonder if it’s worth the investment. And if you’re looking for a more affordable but still-immersive VR experience, there’s a new player in town: the LG 360 VR. This is virtual reality with a focus on portability.
It’s powered by your smartphone and, unlike most other models out there, doesn’t require a computer or console to work. The goggles themselves are light enough that you can wear them without feeling any strain on your neck or face and they connect to your phone via a wire that runs from one side of the headset.
So how does it really compare to the competition? We had Senior Technology Editor Matt Swider spend some time with the LG 360 VR to see how this new system stacks up. Check out his full review below:

The lightweight device weighs just under 4 oz and connects to the phone via USB-C cable. The headset allows you to use any Android phone running Lollipop or higher, making it a great option for those looking for an affordable way to enjoy virtual reality. Verdict: The LG 360 VR is a lightweight and inexpensive Virtual Reality headset that you can use with the LG G5. It’s not as immersive as other headsets, but it’s the first one that’s truly portable.
We’ve now spent some time with the LG 360 VR, and we can safely say that it’s an impressive piece of kit.
The headset itself is incredibly lightweight (at 118g, it’s lighter than some smartphones), and its design means that you can simply plug it into your phone when you need to use it.
There are two lenses in the front, which create a 3D effect, while a headphone port at the bottom of the headset allows you to listen to audio.
There are control buttons on the right side of the headset – these let you adjust volume and move around within apps. There are also built-in earphones, so you don’t need to use your own headphones if you don’t want to.
What is it?
The LG 360 VR is a compact VR headset that works with the LG G5 smartphone. Unlike the Samsung Gear VR, which uses an existing phone as a display, the LG 360 VR has its own built-in screens. To use the device you simply connect it to the G5’s USB-C port using a cable and away you go.
The design of the headset is very lightweight and slimline, with a fabric covering that helps make the device comfortable to wear for long periods of time. This is helped by a rubber padding section across the top of your head, which also helps keep things firmly in place when you’re moving around.
Unlike other VR headsets, there’s no support for controllers here, so everything is controlled using buttons on the side of one of the lenses. This can make using certain apps more difficult than they need to be (more on this later).
The glasses are designed to be used without your glasses on if you require them, but I found that I had to wear contacts inside the headset in order to keep everything in focus.
How does it work?
The LG 360 VR uses two 720p LCD displays – one for each eye – which result in a resolution of 960
