I have read a lot about chromebooks that are having issues, and I wanted to write about how to fix them. Most people do not know how to fix issues with chromebooks.

First of all, if you are having trouble getting your chromebook on a wifi network, then you must make sure that the wifi password is correct. It was a common issue a few years ago when I was in college, but now people generally know how to use wifi.

If you are having trouble with it turning on, then you must make sure that it is plugged in correctly. This is a simple thing that many people over look. You can also try to restart it by holding down the power button for ten seconds or so.

Most problems with chromebooks result from hardware failures and thus cannot be fixed simply by restarting the computer. If your computer is still not working after following these steps, I would suggest contacting the manufacturer or going on their website and finding some troubleshooting help there.

Chromebooks are an amazing value for your money, but they are not perfect. Fortunately, a lot of issues can be fixed with a simple reboot. If a reboot does not fix the issue, you might need to troubleshoot the specific issue. Here are some tips for fixing common issues:

1. Chrome OS Updates- Updates in Chrome OS happen very often and there are many different types of updates that happen. To check if there is an update, click on the notification area in bottom right corner and click Settings. From there, click on “About Chrome OS” at the top of the page. Click on “Check For Update” and follow the prompts to update your Chromebook.

2. Touchpad Issues- If your touchpad is acting up, you can try to adjust the sensitivity by clicking on the notification area and clicking settings, then look to where it says “Touchpad” under Device Settings and adjust the sensitivity slider. If you have a two finger scroll option but it does not work properly, try calibrating it by clicking on “Show touch calibration” in the same menu as above.

3. Webcam Issues- It may seem like your webcam has stopped working when it actually hasn’t

Chromebooks are by far the most used laptops in schools today. They are lightweight, easy to use, and have a battery life that lasts all day. Even with these great features, they still have some issues that cause many people to stay away from them. That is why we have written this blog post: to help you know what issues can come up and how to fix them when they do.

This list will be updated regularly so check back often!

I’ve been a user of Chromebooks for about a year now, and I can honestly say that I’m in love with them. They are fast, easy to use, and very user friendly. The only problem is that they are not perfect.

I have owned three different Chromebook models over the last year and a half, the HP Pavilion 14-c050nr, the Acer C720p-2848, and the Samsung Chromebook 2. All of these have had slight issues that I have had to figure out how to fix myself. Most of these issues could be figured out by simply Googling your problem and referring to this websites list of common problems/issues.
