I am always looking for healthy, quick and easy breakfast options to take with me. I found this recipe for a chia seed pudding in one of my favorite health and fitness magazines and modified it to my liking. Not only does it have the added benefit of being gluten free, it also has protein from the almond milk and the chia seeds. I usually make this at night and put it in a jar that I can grab in the morning.

1 cup unsweetened almond milk 1 tbsp chia seeds 2 tbsp plain greek yogurt (you can use any flavor you like) 1/4 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 tsp cinnamon dash of salt

1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl or jar and stir until evenly combined. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight or for at least 2 hours).

2. Stir again before serving to break up any clumps.

3. Top with fruit or nuts if desired! Enjoy!

Once upon a time, we all knew that breakfast was the most important meal of the day. Today, it seems we have forgotten. But many of us also realize that too much food is produced in ways that are not sustainable and unhealthy. So let’s go back to basics and make our breakfast a healthy one in which we can eat more mindfully, more sustainably and more healthfully.

Breakfast Bowls seem to be the latest trend in healthy eating. They are a quick and easy way to get your day off to a good start when you’re on-the-go. The great thing about them is you can customize them with your favorite ingredients, they’re packed with nutrients and they’re portable!

I’ve been making breakfast bowls for some time now, but I thought I’d share my recipe for an easy breakfast bowl that I like to make ahead of time so I have something quick to grab when I’m rushing out the door. You can easily customize it by adding or taking away ingredients depending on your taste preferences or what’s available in your pantry or refrigerator. Just remember that some ingredients need to be cooked before you put them in your bowl (like eggs)

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Yet, many people are on the go and don’t have time to stop and eat a healthy breakfast. Many studies show that people who eat a healthy protein-packed breakfast are less likely to overeat during the day.

Another problem I have found is that there are not a lot of options for quick meal items for people with Celiac Disease when they are on the go. This blog will feature several ideas for a healthy breakfast in a bowl, as well as items to take with you when you’re on the go.

I’m currently working on getting some recipes up but in the meantime, check out and purchase these great products from Amazon.com!

This is a breakfast that my husband and I both love. We used to eat it all the time when we first got married and then for some reason we stopped. I don’t know why… but it’s one of those great breakfasts that you can make for yourself or for the whole family, depending on your needs.

It’s also something you can easily take on the go if you’re in a hurry or just need something healthy to eat at your desk. It’s really simple too… I’ve actually included a quick video at the bottom showing how easy it is to make this Breakfast In A Bowl!

I’ve been wanting to create some healthy breakfast options for a while now. I’m not sure what took me so long. My reasoning is that when I’m on the run, my breakfast usually consists of a cup of coffee (or two). So I came up with this really quick and easy recipe that you can make ahead of time and eat on the go!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup steel cut oats

1 1/2 cups water

6 tablespoons plain greek yogurt

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 tablespoon honey (add more or less depending on your sweetness preference)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

In a medium sized pot, add water and oats. Bring to a boil and cook for about 4-5 minutes until liquid has absorbed. Remove from heat, add in the remaining ingredients and mix well. Enjoy warm or let cool completely and store in the refrigerator in an air tight container. Serve cold or reheat as desired. **Original post can be found here**

You can never be 100% sure that your decision is right. You just have to go out and do it. But if you are not sure, then you need to ask someone who is more experienced than you. If you choose the wrong option, do not give up; just try again. When we came to the UK, everything was new to us: the language, the culture and so on. We were scared of what we didn’t know, but now we feel more comfortable and confident in a foreign country. You have to believe in yourself and be confident in your own skills.

Some people come from other countries with nothing, or very little money, and they make something of themselves by working hard and using their skills wisely. They don’t give up – they keep going until they succeed! Imagine if those people had thought ‘I can’t do this’, and had given up? The world would be a very different place!
